Ethiopia is the first in Africa to export coffee!

 


By 2021, $2.5 billion was earned from coffee exported from Africa.

Thus, Ethiopia, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania and Kenya have become the top five coffee exporting countries in Africa.

Ethiopia leads the market earning $1.2 billion in foreign exchange from coffee, followed by Uganda with $594.2 million.

Africa, the birthplace of coffee, plays an important role in the global coffee industry.

African coffee beans are preferred by coffee consumers around the world for their unique taste, acidity and pleasant aroma.
