The British Embassy in Ethiopia urged its citizens not to travel to areas where there is danger

The British Embassy in Ethiopia issued a warning not to travel due to security threats in various areas of Ethiopia.

The embassy announced on its Twitter page that it has advised its citizens coming to Ethiopia or those in Ethiopia not to travel to the areas in western and northern Shoa as well as some areas in Oromia due to the threat of air strikes.

According to the updated security information issued by the British Foreign Affairs and Relations Office, citizens are advised not to travel to the Tigray region and some parts of the North Amhara region and the West Afar region as there is a possibility that the war will spread without sufficient warning.

If they are in the Tigray region, they should go to a safe place and if they are in an area where military activity is taking place and they cannot leave safely, they should stay at home.
